At Blue Tortuga Ink, we take pride in offering high-quality new with tags, pre-loved, upcycled, and mended products. Each item is meticulously inspected before being listed and shipped. We encourage you to review the size and fit information provided in the product description or photos prior making your purchase.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
- Returns: Currently, we do not accept returns on any items. If you encounter any issues with your order, please reach out to us at orders@bluetortugaink.com within 7 days of delivery and we will work diligently to resolve the matter. (Approvals may take up to 48 hours.)
The following steps apply only after we have approved the return upon reviewing your request. Please follow these steps:
Pack Your Item: Securely pack the item you wish to return in its unused and original condition, including all tags and packaging.
Return Shipping: Return shipping costs and package insurance are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure your return arrives safely. This way, you can monitor the return process and confirm its delivery to us.
Additional Fees: Please note that any approved returns may incur additional processing fees, which will be communicated to you at the time of return approval. (e.g., restocking fees, percentage deductions). Approved returns may incur a 10% restocking fee to cover inspection and processing costs.
Once we receive your returned item, we will process your return as approved.
- Exchanges: (Only valid for US-shipped products) Your satisfaction is our priority! If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer easy exchanges (on items of the same value; customers will be responsible for payment if the chosen product is higher in price) on unused products within 14 days of delivery. To initiate an exchange, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email us at orders@bluetortugaink.com to let us know you’d like to exchange your item.
- Pack Your Item: Securely pack the item you wish to exchange in its unused and in original condition.
- Return Shipping: Return shipping costs and package insurance are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure your return arrives safely. This way, you can monitor the return process and confirm its delivery to us.
Once we receive your returned item, we will process your exchange promptly. Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to helping you find the perfect fit!
FINAL SALE POLICY
- All items purchased on social media promotions or marked as final sale are not eligible for refunds or returns.
- No refunds will be issued on discounted or promotional items. (e.g., "Items discounted 20% or more," "Flash sales on social media")
DEFECTS OR ORDER ISSUES
We inspect all products multiple times, including a final check before shipping. If you receive an item with undisclosed damage, an incorrect or missing product, or an item that does not match the description, please email orders@bluetortugaink.com within 7 days of delivery include your order number and clear photos. We will review your request and determine the best resolution.

International Shipping Options:
- Express International Shipping: $55 (Estimated 3-5 business days)
- Pirate Ship Delivery: $20 (Estimated 1-4 weeks calendar weeks).
- Disclaimer: Customs delays are common and may extend delivery beyond estimates.
- Order Tracking: Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this number to track your order delivery status.
- Processing Time: Orders typically process within 1-3 business days before shipping.
- Holiday and Peak Season Shipping: Please be aware that shipping times may vary during holiday seasons or peak shopping periods.
- Damaged or lost Items in Transit: If your item arrives damaged, please retain all packaging (in order to to file insurance claims) and contact us within 7 days with photos of the damage for a resolution.

Customer Responsibilities: Please ensure that your shipping address is correct at checkout. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that the shipping address is entered correctly at checkout. Blue Tortuga Ink cannot be held liable for packages lost, misdelivered, or delayed due to errors or omissions in the address provided.
If you realize your shipping address is incorrect, you must notify us immediately at orders@bluetortugaink.com before your order is processed for shipment. Once an order has been dispatched, we cannot reroute or intercept packages.
Blue Tortuga Ink’s responsibility ends once the package is marked as delivered/arrived at destination by the carrier. We are not liable for theft, damage, or loss of packages after delivery confirmation.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS - CUSTOMS, VAT / IMPORT FEES.
For international customers, please note that customs duties, tariffs, VAT, or import taxes are not included in your order total. These fees are determined by your country’s customs agency and are the customer’s responsibility.
- Refusal to pay customs/VAT fees may result in your package being held, returned, or destroyed by customs.
- If a package is refused at delivery due to unpaid import charges, we are not responsible for any resulting delays, loss, or costs.
Refused Packages, If you refuse a package upon delivery:
- We cannot issue a refund unless the package is returned to us in its original condition.
- Refused packages do not offer reliable tracking, are difficult to recover, and are often not insured for the return trip.
If the package is lost in transit after refusal, no refund or store credit will be issued.
REFUNDS ON REFUSED OR RETURNED PACKAGES.
If your package is returned to us (voluntarily or due to refusal), a refund will be issued only after we receive the item.
Refunds will be partial and will exclude:

- Purchasing their own return shipping label.
